    White Home says the US president is deploying 2,000 guardsmen to deal with ‘lawlessness’ as protests in opposition to immigration raids proceed.

    United States President Donald Trump is deploying 2,000 Nationwide Guard troops to town of Los Angeles, the place a continued immigration crackdown has led to protests and clashes between authorities and demonstrators.

    The White Home stated in a press release on Saturday that Trump was deploying the Guardsmen to “deal with the lawlessness that has been allowed to fester” in California.

    California Governor Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, objected to the transfer and stated in a put up on X that the transfer from the Republican president was “purposefully inflammatory and can solely escalate tensions”.
