To the editor: I used to be a trainer within the San Fernando Valley earlier than its faculties had any air-con. In the future it was so heat, a pupil put his head down on his desk and mentioned, “Simply give me an F, Ms. S, I can not suppose.” Warmth as a reason behind pupil underperformance is actual (“Rising heat is causing students to underperform across the globe,” July 31).
That is one other unhappy impact of local weather change that’s disproportionately harming those that want essentially the most safety. I don’t have any hope that this administration will fight the problem. I can solely hope that our subsequent chief acknowledges the severity and places our greatest and brightest into motion to repair this debilitating disaster.
