    WASHINGTON: United States President Donald Trump stated on Monday (Mar 17) that his Chinese language counterpart Xi Jinping would go to the US quickly, as trade tensions soar between the world’s two largest economies over Trump’s tariffs.

    “He’ll be coming within the not too distant future,” Trump informed reporters as he visited the Kennedy Middle for the Performing Arts in Washington whereas speaking in regards to the Chinese language chief.

    Trump didn’t give any additional particulars. 

    The Wall Road Journal reported final week that Washington and Beijing had begun discussions a few doable summit in June within the US. Each leaders have a good time birthdays within the month of June.

    Since returning to the White Home in January, Trump has unleashed tariffs on main buying and selling companions together with China, Canada and Mexico, citing commerce imbalances and their failure to stem the circulation of lethal fentanyl.

    Final week, China known as for “dialogue” with Washington.
