    TOKYO: Iran freed a Japanese nationwide held since January, Tokyo stated on Tuesday (Apr 7), with Kyodo Information reporting that the particular person was believed to be the Tehran bureau chief of broadcaster NHK.

    It was the second release after the Japanese authorities introduced final month that one other Japanese nationwide was freed by Iran.
