A hearth broke out Monday at a historic Broadway theater in New York Metropolis that hosts the hit play “The Guide of Mormon,” officers stated.
Dozens of items with the New York Fireplace Division (FDNY) responded to the Eugene O’Neill Theatre on forty ninth Road round 10 a.m. to extinguish the three-alarm blaze, FDNY Assistant Chief David Simms stated throughout a information briefing.

Greater than 200 first responders arrived on the scene. The fire started within the electrical room between the fourth and fifth flooring, he stated. After the hearth was knocked down, extra flames had been found between the fifth ground and the roof.
