    Rep. Lauren Boebert Introduces Legislation to Abolish ATF | The Gateway Pundit

    Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert and Missouri Rep. Eric Burlison have launched laws to abolish the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

    Reps. Andy Biggs, Mike Collins, Bob Onder, Andy Ogles, Mary Miller, Keith Self, and Paul Gosar co-sponsored the “Abolish the ATF Act of 2025.”

    The ATF regulates firearms and has lengthy been criticized by Republicans for its heavy-handed tactics.

    Rep. Boebert launched the invoice on January 3 when Congress reconvened.

    The proposed laws is just one web page lengthy and easily states, “The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is hereby abolished.”

    Rep. Boebert has sponsored and co-sponsored earlier iterations of laws to abolish the company.
