    North Korea criticises Rubio, says it will respond strongly to US provocations

    SEOUL: North Korea on Monday (Feb 3) criticised US Secretary of State Marco Rubio for calling it a “rogue state” in a media interview, saying his feedback don’t assist US pursuits, state media KCNA stated.

    North Korea’s international ministry stated the nation will reply strongly to hostile US provocations, KCNA reported.

    It’s North Korea’s first criticism of the Trump administration since President Donald Trump re-entered the White House on Jan 20, Yonhap information company stated.

    The ministry additionally condemned United States’ new missile defence defend plan, saying that it makes it mandatory for North Korea to strengthen its personal navy energy, KCNA reported.

    Trump final week signed an order that “mandated a course of to develop an ‘American Iron Dome'”, a next-generation US missile defence defend towards ballistic, hypersonic, cruise missile and different types of aerial assault.

    “The thought of a brand new missile defence system, which recollects the spectre of the damaging ‘Star Wars’ plan of … the Chilly Struggle, poses a threat of justifying an arms race below the pretext of dealing with the ‘risk’ of adversaries, no matter its feasibility,” North Korea’s international ministry stated, based on KCNA.
