    To the editor: Fontana law enforcement officials contend their strategies of interrogation are completely acceptable since they’ve been used throughout the nation for the final 80 years. It’s unhappy and scary that American officers think about their strategies efficient when each different precise democracy would think about these strategies torture. (“Cops lie to suspects during interrogations. Should detectives stick to the truth?” Dec. 24)

    Officers who actually imagine their suspect is responsible current proof in courtroom. Coercive, dishonest, hours-long interrogations solely improve suspicion of a false confession simply to cease the torture.

    Additionally, how usually are these being tortured of shade, younger and unaware of their proper to an lawyer?
