To the editor: It’s concurrently each infuriating and reprehensible that the Martin Luther King Jr. Group Hospital, as with many different hospitals in America that serve lower-income areas, is struggling to outlive due to extreme cuts in federal assist on account of HR1, the ingloriously named “One Huge Stunning Invoice Act” (“Struggling to survive, South L.A.’s MLK hospital seeks greater share of county funds,” Aug. 3). That is reported with the outline of our metropolis, state and nation as “one of many wealthiest.” And simply on the opposite facet of the Los Angeles Instances entrance web page is the report of the convicted felon president’s plan to revenue off of his coverage posts (“Trump stands to profit off policy announcements by selling access to his social media posts,” Aug. 2). How far would the hundreds of thousands President Trump stands to achieve from this enterprise go in the event that they as an alternative went to very important social wants?
Evidently, there might be no treatment from the complicit Republican Celebration. The hope rests with a surge of voters within the fall who will end up with righteous indignation and vote out the present spineless political lackeys of this traditionally horrible president.
