To the editor: For all of the politics and justifications for Atty. Gen. Rob Bonta’s fights towards the Trump administration’s cuts, the place does he suggest finances cuts be made (“Trump uses repeated funding cuts to pressure California, complicating state’s legal fight,” Oct. 3)? Whereas we might not agree with the president’s priorities as he tries to pare federal spending, I’m seeing no alternate options to save lots of the nation from chapter. Bonta could also be positioning himself for future public workplace, so are we to count on “minimize nothing, spend extra in all places” to proceed to be his mantra? And his get together’s nationwide response is equally “not Trump,” with no finances fixes.

When can we get any accountable options to federal deficits? California’s lawyer normal is spending our sources to advertise extra overspending. Should we undergo this dysfunction from each events?
