To the editor: It’s shameful that President Trump and his sycophantic secretary of State, Marco Rubio, have chosen to impose sanctions towards the Worldwide Prison Courtroom, the identical sort of legal court docket whose authorized historic basis was preceded by the Nuremberg and Tokyo tribunals (“U.S. hits International Criminal Court with sweeping sanctions as part of drive to dismantle tribunal,” Oct. 9). Is it not ironic that the U.S. is questioning the ICC investigation of Israel and, for that cause, has chosen to position sanctions towards the ICC?

The limitless killing of non-combatants (youngsters, girls and the aged) by the Israeli navy, the unprovoked battle by Russia on Ukraine and the bombing of an all-girls college in Iran by the U.S. navy warrant investigations.

No state or particular person needs to be above the regulation, and the madness of killing harmless non-combatants, particularly youngsters, deserves justice. Failure to assist and uphold the ICC and its findings can solely result in additional lawlessness and the rise of immorality worldwide.
