The Buffalo Bills‘ concept of an enormous change is to stay in home.

On Tuesday, the Payments concluded their teaching search after the firing of nine-year head coach Sean McDermott on Jan. 19, touchdown on Joe Brady, who’s been with the group since 2022 and has spent the previous two seasons as offensive coordinator after being promoted on an interim foundation in 2023.

The uninspiring rent is a troubling omen for Buffalo’s fast future.

    Selling coaches not often works

From 2011-25, 9 franchises promoted from inside both an offensive or defensive coordinator to full-time head coach. Of these coaches, Jason Garrett and Todd Bowles are the one ones with a successful file. Bowles is the one one with a playoff victory.
