The rock star frontman of Welsh band The Alarm, has died from blood most cancers aged 66.
Mike Peters, who was pressured to cancel a US tour final 12 months after being identified with lymphoma, had been present process therapy on the Christie NHS Basis Belief in Manchester.
His dying was introduced by a spokesperson for the charity Love Hope Energy, which he co-founded together with his spouse.
Peters, who supported U2 and Status Quo on tour and performed with Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen, was first identified with the blood most cancers persistent lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) greater than 30 years in the past, aged 36.
He underwent quite a few drug remedies and rounds of chemotherapy and had tried experimental remedy to maintain his most cancers at bay, however has sadly handed away this week.

Ian Gwyn Hughes, from the Football Association of Wales (FAW), said Peters was “a natural choice” for the song when paying tribute to him.
He said: “He will not only be remembered for his music but also as just a proper, genuine football fan who made a huge contribution to the culture of The Red Wall.”
What illness did Mike Peters have?
Mike Peters was first diagnosed with lymphoma in 1995 and went into remission in 1996.
Ten years later, in 2005, he fell ill again and was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, a form of blood cancer.
It was at this point that he started a charity alongside his wife Jules named Love Hope Strength, which is a music-driven cancer charity that aimed to raise awareness and action around stem cell donation. It pushed people to find out more about ways they could help and launched a famous ‘Get On The List’ campaign.
Thanks to the work and publication of the initiative, the charity has added over 250,000 people to the global stem cell registry in recent years and helped secure thousands of potential life-saving matches for patients worldwide.
Last April, just before embarking on a 50-date US tour, he was diagnosed with Richter’s Syndrome, an aggressive form of lymphoma, and despite extensive treatment at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester, doctors were unable to prevent the cancer from progressing.
He was awarded the MBE in 2019 for his services to cancer care.
In 1986, at the height of his Alarm fame, he was hitchhiking home to North Wales when he met Jules, an English major at Bangor University.
The pair immediately hit it off and they were engaged just two weeks later. They stayed together until his death and would have celebrated their 37-year wedding anniversary this coming September. The pair had two boys together, through IVF, named Dylan, 20, and Evan, 18.
She said: “The crowds lined the streets of Prestatyn as dad and I arrived in a beautiful vintage cream Rolls Royce, driven by a lovely older chap from the hills. The car had broken down earlier in the morning which added to the drama of the busy preparations and whirl up to the big day. The one thing I did not want was to be late on my wedding day.
“The High Street had been closed down especially for the occasion and the police were out in force, managing the crowds.
“Alarm fans were everywhere and unbeknownst to Dad and I, Mike and the Reverend Clive Southerton had invited the Alarm fans into the Church. It was crammed and before I knew it, dad had delivered me to the altar and Mike was singing ‘Stand By Me’ with such passion, tears falling from his eyes.
“ It was a beautiful ceremony, brimming with love, passion and vitality.”
