    GENEVA: The UN well being company on Tuesday (Might 20) adopted a landmark Pandemic Agreement on tackling future well being crises, struck after greater than three years of negotiations sparked by the COVID-19 disaster.

    The accord goals to forestall the disjointed response and worldwide disarray that surrounded the COVID-19 pandemic, by enhancing world coordination and surveillance, and entry to vaccines, in any future pandemics.

    The World Well being Organisation (WHO)’s decision-making annual meeting adopted the plan on Tuesday at its Geneva headquarters.
