Former Minnesota Vikings common supervisor Kwesi Adofo-Mensah’s firing raises recent doubts over quarterback J.J. McCarthy’s future.

Late Thursday night, the Atlanta Falcons appeared to fill the final common supervisor opening of the 2026 hiring cycle by tabbing Chicago Bears assistant common supervisor Ian Cunningham for the function. However on Friday, the Vikings created one other by firing Adofo-Mensah, their common supervisor since 2022.

In an announcement revealing the choice, possession wrote that longtime Vikings front-office govt Rob Brzezinski, employed by the workforce as director of soccer administration in 1999 and serving as its govt vp of soccer operations since 2014, will oversee “operations by way of the 2026 NFL Draft.

“After the draft,” the assertion continued, “we intend to conduct a radical search to establish our subsequent common supervisor.”
