President Trump on Wednesday responded to a report that China could be offering weapons to Iran within the coming weeks, saying he could be shocked and “dissatisfied” if true.
Trump beforehand stated that Xi Jinping had assured him that China wouldn’t present weapons to Iran.
In line with Reuters, China was planning to supply shoulder-launched missile techniques to Iran in a $60-70 million deal.
Iran would obtain 300-400 man-portable air protection techniques (MANPADS) within the coming weeks.
China has since denied the report.
“Issues like that occur, however that may be shocking,” Trump informed reporters on Thursday when requested in regards to the report.
