    BRUSSELS: NATO’s prime commander stated Tuesday (Could 19) that US President Donald Trump’s resolution to withdraw 5,000 troops from Germany doesn’t damage the alliance’s defences, and warned extra redeployments ought to be anticipated. 

    “I would like to emphasize this resolution doesn’t affect the executability of our regional plans,” US Normal Alexus Grynkewich, NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Europe, informed journalists.

    The sudden transfer from Washington adopted a spat between Trump and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz over the warfare in Iran and caught allies unaware.
