    US, South Korea release details of deal including Korean investment in shipbuilding

    WASHINGTON: The USA and South Korea launched particulars of a commerce settlement on Friday (Nov 14) that features a US$150 billion Korean funding within the American shipbuilding sector and an extra US$200 billion earmarked for industrial sectors, the 2 nations stated.

    The joint announcement adopted a meeting in October between South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and US President Donald Trump, the place they agreed to a deal that might lower American import duties on South Korea’s merchandise to 15 per cent from 25 per cent.
