PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad — Murder detectives in Trinidad and Tobago are investigating the suspected homicide of an American man after reportedly going out to attempt to buy marijuana.

Police have been instructed that Brown had dinner and drinks with associates on Wednesday night time in Castara — a small fishing village on the island of Tobago. He then left his associates, telling them he was going to purchase marijuana, the police report mentioned.

Shortly after 10:30 p.m. native time, officers from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service responded to a report that Brown was discovered unresponsive within the space, and he was later pronounced lifeless on the scene.

Investigators consider he was stabbed, as they mentioned there have been a number of wounds about his physique, and a steel object was discovered protruding from his again. Investigators are nonetheless attempting to find out the motive for the killing.
