To the editor: Thanks for printing the op-ed about AI in medication (“The crucial medical question that AI can’t ever answer,” July 8). As a retired crucial care nurse, I discover it top-of-the-line discussions I’ve learn regarding healthcare decision-making. Understanding what the person desires, wants and might tolerate makes the distinction between acceptable or inappropriate care.
The op-ed about Howard Zinn, in the meantime, is necessary for reminding individuals to seek for information and ask questions of all ranges of presidency, from native to nationwide (“Howard Zinn spoke to this moment, even decades ago,” July 8). The reminder to not lose hope is definitely wanted today. We will solely hope the subsequent president is an trustworthy one who follows the regulation. It isn’t a given.
