    LONDON: British police have arrested 4 individuals in reference to a pro-Palestinian protest final week during which army planes had been sprayed with paint at an air base in England, authorities stated on Friday (Jun 27).

    A lady, 29, and two males aged 36 and 24, had been arrested on suspicion of the fee, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism, whereas one other lady, 41, was arrested on suspicion of helping an offender, the police assertion stated.

    Two activists from the Palestine Motion group broke into the air base in central England on Jun 20, damaging and spraying pink paint over two planes used for refuelling and transport, an act that was condemned by Prime Minister Keir Starmer as “disgraceful.”

    Inside days, the federal government set out plans to make use of anti-terrorism legal guidelines to ban Palestine Action, making it a prison offence to belong to the group. Inside Minister Yvette Cooper then stated its actions had turn out to be extra aggressive and prompted hundreds of thousands of kilos of injury.

    The federal government additionally stated final week that it was reviewing safety throughout all British defence websites following the incident.
