    UK interior minister condemns violent reaction to handcuffed student’s murder

    Within the assault final December, Nowak’s killer Vickrum Digwa, 23, lied to police, saying that Nowak had racially abused and assaulted him throughout a short altercation on the street.

    In police bodycam footage, Nowak is seen mendacity on the road saying “I have been stabbed” and “I can not breathe” as he is being handcuffed, whereas an officer responds “I do not suppose you’ve gotten, mate”.

    Digwa was sentenced to life in jail on Monday.

    Floyd had stated “I can not breathe” as a police officer kneeled on his neck for a number of minutes.

    At a protest on Tuesday night, a whole bunch of individuals waved flags and held up indicators saying “Henry Nowak”, “Unite the Kingdom” and “I Cannot Breathe”.

    Mahmood referred to as the violence that later adopted, when objects have been hurled at police, “disgraceful”, and stated these accountable would face the complete drive of the legislation. Two arrests have been made, one for assaulting an officer.
