    UAE tugboat sank in Strait of Hormuz; 3 Indonesians missing

    JAKARTA: Three Indonesian crew members are lacking after the United Arab Emirates-flagged tugboat Musaffah 2 sank within the Strait of Hormuz on Friday (Mar 6), Jakarta’s international ministry stated in a press release.

    There have been quite a few assaults on ships navigating the Strait of Hormuz for the reason that US-Israeli war on Iran started on Feb 28.

    The Musaffah had seven crew members from Indonesia, India and the Philippines, the ministry stated, including that 4 survived and three others, all Indonesians, are lacking.

    Earlier than it sank, the boat skilled an explosion that brought about it to catch hearth, the assertion stated, including that an investigation is ongoing by native authorities.
