    Trump vows tariffs on eight European nations over Greenland

    From Feb 1, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, and Finland could be topic to a 10-per cent tariff on all items despatched to the US, Trump mentioned in a submit on his Reality Social community.

    Denmark known as Trump’s announcement a “shock”, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer mentioned it was “fully mistaken”, and French President Emmanuel Macron added: “Tariff threats are unacceptable and don’t have any place on this context.”

    “We can’t let ourselves be intimidated,” Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson advised AFP, including that the governments concerned had been engaged on a joint response.
