    WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump stated on Monday (Aug 11) that each Ukraine and Russia would want to cede land to one another to finish the struggle, including that his upcoming talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin would gauge whether or not a deal was doable.

    Talking at a White Home press convention, Trump stated his assembly with Putin in Alaska on Friday can be a “feel-out” session to evaluate the Russian chief’s willingness to make peace.

    “I’m getting into to talk to Vladimir Putin, and I’m going to be telling him, you’ve obtained to finish this struggle,” Trump advised reporters. “You’ve obtained to finish it.”

    POSSIBLE THREE-WAY MEETING

    Trump stated a future assembly might contain Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and will turn out to be a three-way session together with himself and Putin. He added that he deliberate to talk with European leaders shortly after his talks with Putin, with the aim of securing a speedy ceasefire.

    The US president has floated the thought of land swaps earlier than, however neither Kyiv nor Moscow has expressed willingness to cede territory. European governments have warned that main concessions to Russia might create long-term safety dangers for the West.
