Heading into the Battle for Texas between the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans in Week 4, Dallas huge receiver CeeDee Lamb was requested if he thought he could possibly be guarded.
His solely response was to laugh and say “no.”
With the Cowboys desperately needing a win after their brutal defeat to the Ravens in Brazil, Lamb confirmed he has good cause to really feel that method, catching 17 passes for 189 yards and the game-winning landing with lower than a minute remaining.
Regardless of their 2-2 document, the Cowboys offense has been probably the greatest within the NFL by way of 4 weeks. They path solely the Buffalo Payments in points-per-game with 30.5 up to now, with Dak Prescott throwing only one interception and the one different turnover approaching a Jake Ferguson fumble.
With one other winless opponent within the Baker Mayfield-less Tampa Bay Buccaneers awaiting the Cowboys on “Thursday Night time Soccer” in Week 5, Dallas has an enormous alternative to (not less than quickly) match the Giants with three wins atop the NFC East.
Which brings us to at this time’s quiz. When the Cowboys want a primary down, Prescott seems to be Lamb’s method. The pair have mixed for an NFL-best 28 first downs by way of the air, a stat they led all of soccer in in 2023. With that being stated, are you able to identify each NFL participant to document not less than 80 first downs as a receiver in a single season?
Good luck!
