To the editor: I would like a “Yikes!” signal. I write to echo Robert Lloyd’s sentiments concerning the removing of traditional Warner Bros. animated shorts from Max (“‘Looney Tunes’ has been removed from Max. This is why it feels like an attack.” March 18). It’s an outrage. It’s calamitous. It’s nothing wanting “dethpicable.” You don’t take the Mona Lisa right down to make room for Keith Haring work. You construct a much bigger museum. Sheesh.

    ..

To the editor: I can relate to the disappointment of shedding these traditional cartoons, however we have now discovered them on MeTV Toons on Spectrum. We spent a current evening watching nothing however cartoons courting from the ‘40s, ‘50s and ‘60s, most of which starred the long-lasting Mel Blanc. Finest evening of TV since we have been youngsters!
