To the editor: The article that appeared in Saturday’s version of the Los Angeles Occasions appeared to color Jameson, the canine shot by Los Angeles Police Division officers, as a sufferer quite than an unrestrained animal (“‘Justice for Jameson’: LAPD killing of family dog amid Knicks win sparks outrage,” June 19). The officers exemplified quite a lot of endurance and common sense after they a number of occasions requested that the canine’s proprietor safe the animal. Her response was “he’s not aggressive” and a failure to adjust to the officers’ affordable requests.

Most canine homeowners are reluctant to acknowledge their pet’s propensity for aggressive habits and, as on this case, refuse to just accept the implications of their inaction. This seemingly biased abstract of what occurred makes me assume that the writers had extra emotions for Jameson than the plight of those well-intentioned officers who had each proper to concern for his or her security and well-being.

To the editor: The police taking pictures of a household’s Bernadoodle could be very disturbing. Like Labradoodles and Goldendoodles, this comparatively new canine breed is thought for its mild, candy and loving nature. The right household canine.

The truth that a cop shot one to loss of life signifies to me that they need to by no means have entry to a firearm, and may undoubtedly not be a cop. What a shame.
