    Qatar air force shoots down two aircraft from Iran: defence ministry

    DOHA: Qatar’s air drive shot down two plane inbound from Iran on Monday (Mar 3), Doha’s defence ministry stated in an announcement after the Islamic republic earlier focused fuel services within the Gulf state.

    “Qatar Emiri Air Drive efficiently shot down two (SU24) plane coming from the Islamic Republic of Iran. In addition they efficiently intercepted seven ballistic missiles by means of air defences, and intercepted 5 drones by Qatar Emiri Air Drive and Qatar Emiri Navy Forces, which focused a number of areas within the state right this moment,” the defence ministry stated.

    It didn’t elaborate on the destiny of the Sukhoi SU24 bombers’ pilots. 

    It was the primary time a Gulf nation has engaged a manned Iranian plane after three days of bombardment, and comes after Qatar’s state-run vitality agency stated it had halted liquefied pure fuel (LNG) manufacturing following assaults on two of its principal fuel processing services.
