    Monarez mentioned she refused to conform, insisting that vaccine suggestions should be reviewed rigorously on scientific grounds, not rubber-stamped for political functions.

    “The CDC can not fulfill its obligation to the American folks if its chief can not demand proof in decision-making,” she wrote, stressing that proof, not ideology, should information public well being coverage. 

    She warned towards stacking advisory committees and eradicating scientific employees, calling it “sabotage”.

    Monarez concluded that she was ousted for “holding the road” on science.
