    IRS Tax Examiner speaks with James O’Keefe

    An IRS tax examiner went on the report with O’Keefe Media Group and blew the whistle on the company.

    “We will’t do wherever near what the American folks assume we will,” David Nelsen, Tax Analyzing Technician for the IRS, advised James O’Keefe. “Now we have very antiquated programs. They aren’t built-in. We’re mainly handcuffed.”

    David Nelson stated there was just about no funding to enhance something on the company.

    “There’s been no funding for many years to attempt to enhance something,” Nelsen stated. “When funding is supplied, it’s put in direction of little Band-Support points as a substitute of the large drawback of the entire.”

    “We even have very antiquated software program. We use a software program referred to as Built-in Information Retrieval System (IDRS),” Nelsen added.

    David Nelsen stated the outdated software program has led to a bloated workforce and delays in tax processing.

    “We might most likely scale back the scale of the IRS considerably with adjustments, packages, a centralized stock system, changing IDRS,” he stated.

    Final month the IRS fired 6,000 staff as President Trump works to cut back the federal workforce.

    The IRS is planning to chop as much as 50% of its workforce.

    “I’m not afraid of shedding a profession,” Nelson stated. “I’ll fall on the sword if it means I will help the American folks and assist everybody else on the IRS who’re doing their jobs.”
