    ‘Multiple’ people injured in shooting near University of Iowa, campus and police say

    Police have been investigating a taking pictures through which “a number of victims” have been injured close to the College of Iowa early on Sunday, the campus and legislation enforcement stated.

    “At the moment, a number of victims have been taken to space hospitals to be handled for wounds suffered within the taking pictures,” the Iowa Metropolis Police Division stated in a press release. “No info on their circumstances is accessible right now.”

    Police stated in a press release that officers responded to a report of a “giant combat” on the 100 block of East Faculty Road at 1:46 a.m., including that, “Arriving officers heard gunfire.” Gunshots have been reported close to Faculty and Clinton streets in Iowa Metropolis, the campus stated in an alert.
