    Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has come to the protection of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro in opposition to U.S. expenses of terrorism and drug trafficking.

    Earlier this week, the U.S. issued a $50 million bounty onf Maduro over his position within the narco-terrorist group Cartel de los Soles.

    Talking at her morning press convention, Sheinbaum mentioned Mexico has no lively investigations linking Maduro to cartel exercise inside the nation.

    “As we at all times have mentioned, if they’ve any proof, then they need to present it,” she mentioned.

    “We now have no proof associated to that.”

    Sheinbaum is a pure left-wing ally of Maduro, who has overseen Venezuela’s transformation from a thriving capitalist democracy to a socialist dictatorship and South America’s most infamous failed state.

    In a press release on Thursday, the Division of Justice doubled their earlier bounty of $25 million to $50 million.

    Their announcement states:

    For over a decade, Maduro has been a pacesetter of Cartel de los Soles, which is accountable for trafficking medicine into the USA.

    On July 25, 2025, the U.S. Division of the Treasury designated Cartel de Los Soles as a Specifically Designated World Terrorist (SDGT).

    Since 2020, Maduro has strangled democracy and grasped at energy in Venezuela.  Maduro claimed to have received Venezuela’s July 28, 2024, presidential election however didn’t current any proof that he had prevailed.

    The US has refused to acknowledge Maduro because the winner of 2024 election and doesn’t acknowledge him because the President of Venezuela.

    Sheinbaum, in the meantime, is infamous for her willingness to defend felony organizations.

    On Friday, she accused the U.S. of planning an “invasion” of her countyr over reviews that Trump could also be keen to authorize army power in opposition to Mexican drug cartels.

    “We cooperate, collaborate, however there will likely be no invasion,” she mentioned of the reviews.

    “That’s off the desk, completely off the desk.”
