    Manhunt underway after officer shot, critically injured in north Georgia

    A manhunt is underway in Georgia after a suspect shot an officer late Friday night time, in accordance with officers.

    Police mentioned they’re trying to find 26-year-old Timothy Craig Ramsey who’s alleged to have shot McCaysville Police Captain Brantley Worley.

    Georgia Bureau of Investigation launched this picture of the suspect, Timothy Craig Ramsey.

    “Marty, the ladies, and I are asking all Georgians to hitch us in praying for this officer who was shot within the line of responsibility, in addition to all legislation enforcement who face this sort of hazard frequently to guard their communities,” Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp mentioned in an announcement Saturday.

    Ramsey is described by police as a white male, 5 foot 11 inches who weighs round 185 kilos and has lengthy brown hair and blue eyes.

    Legislation enforcement officers are on the scene after McCaysville Police Captain Brantley Worley was shot on Sept. 12, 2025.

    “Ramsey is taken into account armed and harmful. If you happen to see him or see any suspicious exercise, please take instant precautions and notify 911.When you have any data on the whereabouts of this harmful suspect, please contact 911 or the Georgia Bureau of Investigation by calling 1-800-597-TIPS(8477),” the Georgia Bureau of Investigation mentioned in an announcement.
