    To the editor: Wolves are hardly an previous nemesis (“Beautiful, deadly: Wolves stalk rural California,” April 21).     To the editor: I learn with curiosity your article about wolf predations. Nowhere it’s talked about that in Colorado and different locations, sure breeds of canines can shield cattle. Breeds equivalent to Pyrenees, Anatolian and Akbash are huge highly effective canines and when you’ve got quite a few them (one won’t be sufficient to fend off an assault by a number of wolves), they are often very efficient in defending cattle.
