To the editor: So Gov. Gavin Newsom has disclosed his final 4 earnings tax returns, type of (“Newsoms release tax returns. See how much the couple earned since he became governor,” July 31). I say “type of” as a result of he has solely shared them with a small group of media, he didn’t permit the tax returns to be copied or photographed, and he has not shared them instantly along with his constituents, the folks of California. A very forthcoming elected official would simply publish them on his web site and be achieved with it.
It’s a tragic day when the governor has apparently turn into corrupted by the system he purports to wish to clear up.
