Kyle Busch will not race within the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Sequence or NASCAR Cup Sequence races at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend after being hospitalized with sickness.
“Kyle has skilled a extreme sickness leading to hospitalization,” a statement posted to Busch’s X account read. “He’s presently present process remedy and won’t compete in any of his scheduled actions this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Busch was scheduled to drive the No. 7 Chevrolet for Spire Motorsports in Friday’s Truck Race and the No. 8 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing, the latter of which is his full-time journey within the Cup Sequence.
Austin Hill, who drives for RCR within the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Elements Sequence, will step in and drive the No. 8 RCR Chevy in Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600.
