To the editor: Based on Deirdre Macnab, “Ranchers are extraordinarily involved [about climate change] and below super strain,” so I suppose now that makes it an official drawback (“Global warming is ruining their way of life. These Colorado ranchers demand accountability,” Sept. 5). It has been 20 years because the documentary “An Inconvenient Fact” spilled the beans to the general public about local weather change and fossil gas.
The message was ignored and labeled a hoax, and that message has persevered on this nation into the current, pushed by the fossil gas trade and politicians from high to backside. Over 20 years, improvements and doable options have been shot down, wrapped in purple tape out of greed and willful ignorance. So I suppose all of us should look forward to the remaining ostriches to tug their heads out of the sand and uncover their private inconveniences and hope that the destruction is manageable.

To the editor: Macnab and her neighbors speak of taking Suncor Power and Exxon Mobil to courtroom in an effort to hunt reimbursement for the harm the businesses have attributable to extracting and promoting oil and associated merchandise. Pursuing such a path by the courts goes to take years and is unsure to succeed. I recommend they pursue a sooner path: This November, push out these in Congress who’re ignoring the big financial influence of synthetic world warming.
