    Israel reviewing Hamas response to ceasefire proposal

    TEL AVIV, Israel — Hamas’ newest response to a U.S.-brokered Gaza ceasefire proposal is “at present being reviewed” by Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s workplace mentioned on Thursday.

    Hamas introduced Wednesday evening it had submitted to mediators a response to the ceasefire deal at present on the desk. The main points of Hamas’ response weren’t instantly made public.
