    Israel is on excessive alert for the potential of any United States intervention in Iran as authorities there confront the biggest anti-government protests in years, in accordance with three Israeli sources ‌with information of the matter.

    President ‌Donald Trump has repeatedly threatened to intervene in recent days and warned Iran’s rulers towards utilizing pressure towards demonstrators. On Saturday (Jan 10), Trump stated the US stands “able to ‍assist”.

    The sources, who had been current for Israeli safety consultations over the weekend, didn’t elaborate on what Israel’s high-alert footing meant ​in observe. Israel ‌and Iran fought a 12-day war in June.
