    JERUSALEM: Israel on Thursday (Jan 16) accused Hamas of backtracking on components of the Gaza ceasefire deal announced a day earlier, and stated the Cupboard is not going to meet on the deal till Hamas’ settlement is confirmed.

    “Hamas has reneged on components of the settlement reached with the mediators and Israel in an effort to extort last-minute concessions,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s workplace stated in an announcement, including the state of affairs created a “final minute disaster”.
