After President Donald Trump rejected a proposal from Iran over the weekend, U.S. officers mentioned he stays open to providing the nation sanctions reduction and releasing its frozen belongings in alternate for concrete progress towards a nuclear deal.
Trump confirmed U.S. and Iranian officers spoke through mediators on Monday.
The Trump administration has at all times mentioned Iran would obtain substantial monetary rewards if it walked away from its nuclear program, and underneath June’s memorandum of understanding, the U.S. promised to roll again all sanctions as a part of a verifiable, long-term nonproliferation deal.
