To the editor: Think about if, beneath the Biden administration, conflict plans acquired leaked to the Atlantic (“Trump officials share war plans in group chat that included a journalist,” March 24). Right here’s what would have occurred: Conservative media would have been calling for resignations throughout the board, beginning with President Biden himself, and Republicans in Congress would have been holding hearings about it inside days. However when this occurs beneath the Trump administration, a lot of the media and the Democrats collectively shrug their shoulders and do nothing about it. Moreover, Republicans don’t appear in the least bothered. Why the double customary? For Democratic administrations, perfection is the expectation. Then again, ineptitude, incompetence and failure are what everybody expects from the Trump administration.
