    HOF voter explains why he left Bill Belichick off his ballot

    One Professional Soccer Corridor of Fame voter has admitted he did not vote for former New England Patriots head coach Invoice Belichick.

    Belichick, after all, reportedly fell short of the 40 votes wanted to make the HOF. On Wednesday, Vahe Gregorian of The Kansas Metropolis Star — a member of the 50-person choice committee — revealed he did not vote for the North Carolina Tar Heels HC.

    Gregorian defined he left Belichick off as a result of he believed he can be nominated anyway and wished to reward senior gamers who’ve been ready to make it for years. Coaches, senior gamers and contributors are clumped collectively in a single pool of nominees. Fashionable-era gamers are positioned into the opposite.

    On X, The Athletic’s Mike Sando expanded on attainable methods Belichick missed the reduce. He talked about some voters could have assumed the coach was a shoo-in and thus voted for senior candidates, like Gregorian.
