    CAIRO: Hamas determined to not reply or have interaction with Israel’s counter-proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza, an official instructed Reuters on Wednesday (Apr 2), affirming it’s dedicated to the mediators’ plan as a substitute.

    Israel stated on Mar 29 that it conveyed to the mediators a counter-proposal in full coordination with the USA, after Hamas agreed to a proposal it obtained from mediators Egypt and Qatar. A replica obtained by Reuters on Wednesday confirmed the mediators’ proposal was a part of the Jan 17 ceasefire settlement and would prolong the ceasefire for 50 extra days.
