    Gunmen killed at the least 50 folks and kidnapped ladies and kids in an in a single day assault on a village in northwestern Nigeria’s Zamfara State, authorities and residents stated.

    The assault began late on Thursday evening and continued into Friday morning in Tungan Dutse village within the Bukkuyum space of Zamfara when armed males arrived on bikes and started setting fireplace to buildings and abducting residents.
