    Greenland capital hit by power outage after strong winds

    NUUK, Denmark: An influence outage plunged Greenland’s capital into darkness over the weekend after sturdy winds precipitated a transmission failure, the state utility mentioned.

    Nuuk, residence to round 20,000 folks and largely powered by a hydroelectric plant, was left with out electrical energy at round 10.30pm (Sunday, 8.30am, Singapore time) on Saturday (Jan 24), AFP reporters noticed.

    Trump backed down after assembly NATO Secretary-Common Mark Rutte on Wednesday, saying they’d reached a “framework” deal on the Danish autonomous territory.
