Florida is shifting to “finish all vaccine mandates” within the state, Florida Surgeon Common Joseph Ladapo introduced at a press convention on Wednesday.

Ladapo stated the Florida Division of Well being can be working with Gov. Ron DeSantis’ workplace to finish all mandates in Florida legislation, on the occasion at Grace Christian College in Valrico, positioned simply east of Tampa.

“Each final considered one of them is fallacious and drips with disdain and slavery,” Ladapo stated of vaccine mandates.

At present, Florida requires children between kindergarten and twelfth grade to obtain 4 or 5 doses of the diphtheria-tetanus-acellular pertussis (DTaP) vaccine; 4 or 5 doses of the polio vaccine; two doses of the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine; one dose of the tetanus-diphtheria-acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccine and a minimum of two doses of the chickenpox vaccine except the kid has had the illness up to now.
