The Federal Bureau of investigation served a search warrant on the Fulton County Elections Hub and Operations Heart in Georgia Wednesday looking for data associated to the 2020 elections, a spokesperson for the county mentioned.

The FBI earlier Wednesday mentioned they have been conducting court-authorized exercise on the facility.

The event comes after President Donald Trump has repeatedly mentioned there was voter fraud within the 2020 election, particularly in Georgia.

The FBI confirmed there may be court docket approved exercise on the Fulton County Election Hub and Operation Heart, Jan. 28, 2026.

“This operation continues to be actively underway,” the Fulton County spokesperson mentioned in a press release Wednesday afternoon.

This previous November, a Georgia prosecutor dropped the Fulton County election interference case that was introduced in 2023 in opposition to Trump and 18 others for alleged efforts to overturn the outcomes of the 2020 presidential election within the state.

The fees have been introduced by Fulton County District Lawyer Fani Willis following then-President Trump’s Jan. 2, 2021, telephone name wherein he requested Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find” the votes wanted to win the state.

Trump and the opposite defendants pleaded not guilty to all fees earlier than Willis was disqualified from the case following accusations of impropriety concerning her relationship with a fellow prosecutor.

It is a creating story. Please examine again for updates.
