    Venezuelan lawmakers on Friday unanimously accepted a regulation that makes it simpler to hire properties.

    The measure, which goals to assist displaced quake victims, repeals anti-rental laws handed by former leftist Chavista administrations.

    “We’re estimating round 400,000 properties that would profit from this regulation,” interim chief Delcy Rodriguez mentioned earlier on Monday, describing a “win-win” scenario for tenants and property homeowners.

    Rodriguez beforehand pledged to offer 4,000 properties to quake victims by the tip of the yr, with the federal government aiming for that quantity to exceed 10,000 in 2027.

    The interim chief is governing below Washington’s shut watch after US forces ousted her predecessor Nicolas Maduro in January.
